A warm and heavy wool pullover shirt in a great dark blue with rawhide lacings, brass eyelets, and wooden tassels. It has the CAMPUS label. It is dry clean only. A leather strip with the Campus name at the neck for hanging. Leather covered buttons at the cuffs. Made in the USA. It’s a size Small (14 – 14 1/2) according to the label. This was found at the same store as the Army officer uniform. I can’t help but connect the two pieces into some sort of story in my head. What sort of a man owned this terrific vintage shirt? I never tire of the wondering. And the hunt for another story in a piece of clothing.
